Bob Curry

Dr. Curry is the CEO of PerceptiMed, Inc. and is currently a Venture Partner of Latterell Venture Partners. He has been a founding or early-stage investor in over forty life science companies. These investments were completed while being a General Partner of Alliance Technology Ventures and, prior to that, a General Partner and a Managing Director of the Sprout Group, the venture affiliate of Donaldson, Lufkin, and Jenrette.

He has also served as a Managing Director with Merrill Lynch R&D Management and Merrill Lynch Venture Capital. He was Director of Technology at Becton Dickinson; a Division General Manager at Bio-Rad Laboratories; the cofounder of Pathlabs, Inc. (a clinical reference lab) and was an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at the University of Delaware. Dr. Curry currently serves on the Boards of Active Life Scientific, Inc., Emerald Bio sciences, Inc, and PerceptiMed, Inc. He is a Board Member and the Chairman Emeritus at the Keck Graduate Institute at the Claremont Colleges. He received his PhD in chemistry from Purdue University, where he was a SmithKline Fellow, and his Bachelor of Science in physics from the University of Illinois, where he was an Edmund James Scholar.
