Indication For Use and Safety Information
The OsteoProbe is indicated for use as a measurement tool to measure bone tissue resistance to microindentation on the tibia in adults. The clinical significance of resistance to microindentation is unknown. The device is not intended to diagnose or treat any clinical condition.

Like with any percutaneous procedure, there is a small risk of infection. The sale, distribution, and use of the OsteoProbe are restricted to prescription use. Federal law (United States of America) restricts this device to use by, or on the order of, a physician.
