Meet Dr. Naomi Albertson & Sierra Neurosurgery Group

Dr. Albertson earned her medical degree from Tufts University, completed her internship in family medicine at Loma Linda University Hospital, followed by a residency at San Jose Medical Center and fellowship in Sports Medicine at Stanford University. She is board certified by the American Academy of Family Medicine and speaks fluent Spanish.

From her earliest years, Dr. Albertson has been fascinated with sports. Her own journey from youth activity through NCAA collegiate competition as a gymnast and tennis player led to her fascination of biomechanics, orthopedics, and athletic performance. Her background includes more than 20 years of clinical experience evaluating and treating musculoskeletal pain and injury in children to seniors. With her extensive knowledge of bones and muscles, and experience in injury, recovery, and performance, Dr. Albertson works with her patients to help them choose the most effective treatment plans available, including personalized exercise and nutritional programs.
